In 2016-2023, I prepared 38 students for the ENGAA or NSAA. 26 were offered interviews and 12 received offers.
In 2020 all of my students passed the ENGAA.
Here are some quotes from past students/parents:
My school had been pushing me towards Oxbridge for several years, and after visiting the Open Days, realised that it was what I wanted as well. I decided to apply for Natural Sciences at Cambridge, but no-one from my college had got in for over 5 years, and the closest experience any of my teachers had was a deputy head who had got an interview at Oxford many years ago, but been rejected. I therefore didn’t feel that I would be able to prepare myself for the NSAA or any interview effectively enough using just online resources and my teachers. I found David’s services online, and although his tuition is usually for the PAT or the ENGAA, I found even the few sessions I had with him invaluable with regards to the admissions assessment and later my interview, and have no doubt that they were highly influential in my receipt of an offer from Cambridge. I am also incredibly grateful for his regular support and fast responses via email right through to the night before my assessment and then again for my interview. I would highly recommend him for any other potential applicants.
David has been brilliant at supporting my son through the ENGAA – the pre–interview assessment for Cambridge. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional-the handbook he produces was very helpful as well. David guided my son through some very tricky concepts which really helped in the final interview. I would highly recommend him to any Oxbridge candidate.
I initially went to David with what I thought was a sound understanding of physics and maths. Not only did he reinforce my knowledge of the A-level syllabus, but he taught me to think laterally, as is required by the ENGAA test. His large bank of questions and direct approach to teaching ensured I improved quickly, in time for the ENGAA. When I was called for interview, he again helped prepare me for perhaps one of the most important interviews of my life. As an Oxford graduate himself, he had been through the process himself and was able to give me nuggets of information that helped my chances in this competitive process.
